In April, the FP7 funded INFRARISK project, coordinated by ROD-IS, held its 30 month progress meeting in Oslo. With only six months remaining, the partners are finalising the stress test framework being developed to tackle the coupled impacts of natural hazards on interdependent critical road and rail infrastructure networks. The project will also deliver a Decision Support Tool whereby infrastructure owners/manager can implement the framework through an online GUI based tool. With the end of the project in sight, the date and venue for the INFRARISK Final Dissemination Conference has been set and will take place on the 29th September 2016 at the offices of project partner Dragados, in Madrid in Spain. The conference will showcase the implementation of the stress test framework and Decision Support tool using two road and rail case studies in Italy and Croatia respectively. The conference will be of interest to stakeholders in the transport infrastructure sector including, policy makers, owners, operators, managers, regulators and practitioners, research scientists, engineers and civil protection bodies. There is no fee to attend the event and interested parties can register by sending their details to firstname.lastname@example.org. Further information and updates on the project and Final Dissemination Conference can be found at www.infrarisk-fp7.eu.
